Fuel system additives AdBlue® 3001 (urea)

An aqueous solution of urea (32.5%) of high purity, used as an additional working fluid in diesel engines of passenger cars and trucks equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) technology. The chemical composition of AdBlue® is regulated by DIN 70070. The solution is injected in a strictly dosed manner into the exhaust gas flow, where a chemical reaction occurs to convert toxic nitrogen oxides (NOx) into harmless ones (nitrogen and water). The use of the SCR system allows to reduce the emission of harmful particles in the exhaust gases, which ensures compliance with environmental standards Euro 4, Euro 5 and Euro 6.
